Yeah, it's the better Clone Wars. It got way more right than wrong. It also helped that it aired concurrently with the PT. This meant it was more raw to the original releases. With Clone Wars 08, it feels like the changes made to the OT with the .2008 is canon, 2003 is not. Both are worth a watch, but I would go with the clone wars animated movie, then 2008 first, and then 2003 later as noncanon but still entertaining material. It's not canon, but I'd say watch the 2003 series it's shorter, and actually was released between ep 2 and 3, I'd also say it's much better than the 2008 TCW.If you are trying to watch everything in chronological order, part 1 of CW should be viewed before TCW. Then the TCW movie, then chronological viewing order for the 2008 show. After you you complete the whole 2008 series, revisit CW for Part 2.
